대한민국 교육부(국립국제교육원)는 미래사회를 이끌어 갈
열정과 봉사정신이 강한 능력 있는 영어권 젊은이를 초청하는
정부초청 영어교사 프로그램을 운영합니다.
▣ 프로그램 목적
ㅇ 영어권 젊은이를 초청하여 한국의 농산어촌 초등학생에게 방과 후
수업에서 영어를 가르치는(TEACH ENGLISH) 봉사활동을 하는
한편 한국체험의 기회(LEARN KOREA)를 제공함으로써 미래
국제사회의 지도자로 양성
▣ 활동 기간 : 1년원칙
ㅇ 2015.2.1 ~ 2016.1.31(1년)
▣ 장학혜택
ㅇ 장학금 지급 : 월 150만원
ㅇ 입․출국 지원금 제공 : 일괄․정액지급, 각각 130만원
ㅇ 숙소 제공, 사전연수, 의료보험 가입, 정착금지급, 휴가 부여
ㅇ 한국문화체험 실시, 한국어 학습 기회 제공, 장학인증서 수여 등
▣ 지원 자격
ㅇ 영어를 모국어로 사용하는 국가 국적자(시민권자)로서, 현지 대학에서
2년 이상 과정을 수료한 재학생 및 졸업생 또는 전문대 졸업(예정)자
※ 재외동포의 경우 영주권자 또는 1, 2학년도 지원 가능
(단, F4비자 요건 충족 필수)
※ 영주권 미 취득자도 지원 가능하나, 현지에서 초․중등학교 교육을 받고
체류기간이 총 8년 이상인 경우에 한함.
▣ 지원 서류 및 지원 절차
ㅇ ① TaLK홈페이지(www.talk.go.kr)에서 지원서(A,B)를 작성 후
온라인으로 지원
→ ② 해당서류 제출 (수신: 주밴쿠버 총영사관, 우편 또는 방문)
→ ③ 주밴쿠버총영사관에서 인터뷰 실시
▣ 접수기간: 2014.9.15~2014.11.21(금) (조기 지원 시 선발 가능성 높음)

TEACH AND LEARN IN KOREA

The Ministry of Education invites young, adventurous global leaders to apply for the Korean government scholarship to teach and learn in Korea.
Selected scholars will receive Korean government scholarships and teach English in after-school classes of Korean elementary schools starting from February 2015 (1 year)
This serves as an excellent opportunity for ethnic Koreans and English- native speakers to learn about the many facets of Korean culture and find time to travel to distinct regions of the Korean peninsula. TaLK is the perfect program for those who aspire to lead the next generation and who seek to gain personal and professional enrichment through teaching.
▣ Eligibility
ㅇ Citizen of a country where the national language is English
(Australia, Canada, New Zealand, U.K., U.S.A., Ireland, and South Africa).
※ Ethnic Koreans with permanent residency are eligible.
ㅇ Have completed two or more years of education at a university or graduated
from a community college in the aforementioned countries.
※ Ethnic Koreans who are in their 1st or 2nd year of college/university are eligible.
▣ Benefits
ㅇ Monthly stipend: 1.5 million Korean won ㅇ Entrance & Exit allowance
