캘거리 이민자 협회에서는 제 22회 Immgrants of Distinction Awards 수상 대상자 접수를 받고 있습니다.

이민자로서 해외에서 출생하셨고,

현재 캘거리 지역에 거주하고 계시며,

이민자 협회가 선정한 카테고리 중 해당 분야에서 탁월한 리더쉽과 성과를 거두신 개인(본인 신청 불가),

청소년 장학금 및 기업으로서 다민족 문화를 일터에 접목하여 사회발전에 이바지하신 곳이라면 신청이 가능합니다 .

접수는 이민자 협회 IDA 웹사이트 www.immigrantsofdistinction.com 에서 온라인으로 가능하며, 신청마감은 11월 30일 밤 11:59까지 입니다.

한인 사회에 그간 괄목할만한 리더쉽과 헌신을 해오신 많은 분들이 계시다고 알고 있습니다. 그 분들의 공로를 치하하시고 또한 캐나다 사회에 한인커뮤니티의 위상을 알리는 데에도 도움이 될 기회라고 생각합니다. 많은 협회/단체들에서 지원해 주시고 또한 그 중에 꼭 수상자가 나오시기를 응원하겠습니다.

The nominations deadline for the 22nd Annual Immigrants of Distinction Awards (IDA) is 11:59pm on November 30, 2017.
"I am truly humbled and honored to be the recipient of the IDA 2017. I am grateful for the recognition of my work on the economic freedom of immigrants, particularly those who come from the developing world. I dedicate my award to all immigrants who not only enrich this country with their vast knowledge, experience, and cultural diversity, but also enrich the human condition of the most vulnerable in developing countries." Dr. Anupam Das – Achievement under 35 Award recipient, IDA 2017.
Nominations are currently being accepted in the following categories:
• Achievement Under 35
• Arts and Culture
• Community Service
• Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Lifetime Achievement
• Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
• Organizational Diversity
• Youth Scholarships
Individuals and organizations who are nominated must reside in Calgary, or the surrounding area. All entries will be reviewed by an external, anonymous selection committee comprised of local community members. Award recipients will be announced at the 22nd Annual IDA Gala on March 9, 2018, at the Westin Calgary. Candidates must be nominated by someone other than themselves, with the exception of the Youth Scholarship category.
