Fryer Position – CB Drive Inn

Location: 793 Northmount Drive NW, Calgary, AB
Position Type: Part-time

CB Drive Inn is hiring a Fryer to join our kitchen team.

This is a physically demanding position in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are looking for someone who can work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and food quality during busy hours.

Wage

• Starting at $15.00/hour

• $16.00/hour minimum after training

• Wage may increase further based on former experience and performance

Schedule

• Weekdays: Approximately 3:30 PM–8:00 PM

• Sundays: Shifts between 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fried menu items with consistency and speed

• Assist with basic food and ingredient preparation

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

• Work efficiently and safely during busy periods

• Assist with cashier duties when needed, particularly during slower periods or when there are only a few orders

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service when assisting at the front counter

Requirements

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment

• Able to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods

• Able to stand for long periods and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)

• Able to understand and follow instructions in English

• Comfortable interacting with customers and handling basic cashier duties when needed

• Punctual, reliable, and responsible

No prior experience required — training will be provided.
However, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. Previous kitchen, fryer, or cashier experience is an asset.
