Mari Bakeshop is looking for a Chef Patissier/Tourier to join our team! A Chef Patissier/Tourier will be responsible for production assistance of croissant/pastry/bread.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake the day to day running of the Tourier section as directed by Head Pastry Chef. Prepare pastry that is of exceptional quality and of consistency, while maintaining finesse and sense of urgency. Make sure the wastage is kept to a minimum at all times. Assist the Head Chef with menu creation and costing to achieve financial targets. Train and develop Junior Pastry chefs. Ensure all food production is carried out to our standards and ensure complete customer satisfaction. Ensure that all foods are labelled, stored and handled in accordance with the Alberta Health and Safety requirements. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Knowledge/Experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen Intermediate/Superior knowledge and understanding of pastry essentials

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
