Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a full-time Administration Assistant (entry / junior level) to join in our Operations Hub in Rocky View County, on the outskirts of Calgary, AB. This position will fulfill the duties stated below.
Responsibilities
- Check mailboxes and sort out bills/invoices for Controller and Project Manager
- Assist in financial data entry by collecting, sorting out and checking receipts, employee expense reports
- Asist in human resources duties such as new employee checklist, office orientation and exit related tasks
- Undertake duties for office equipment/infrastructure management (internet, phone, security system, other service providers and their bills)
- Compile corporate owned/leased vehicle mileages logs and update a mileage report
- Assist in management of administrative, financial and human resources files and records
- Maintain stocks of office supplies and office equipment
- General office errands; and
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
· Post-secondary diploma and certificate in accounting and/or business administration related studies.
· Language requirements: native or professional proficiency in English.
· Minimum of one (1) year experience related to bookkeeping/accounting is an asset and abilities in multi-tasking.
· Availability to be on site from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday.
· Strong accuracy in data entry, organization, communication, and sound business judgment skills.
· Written references from former immediate supervisors.
