Ryuko Beltline is a Japanese-inspired restaurant and bar located in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood. We serve thoughtfully prepared food, craft cocktails, and provide a welcoming dining experience for our guests.

We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager with daily operations, team leadership, and guest service. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working on the floor and helping a restaurant team perform at its best.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations and service execution.

• Lead and support the front-of-house team during regular and peak service periods.

• Train, coach, and provide constructive feedback to team members.

• Maintain consistent standards for guest service, cleanliness, and restaurant presentation.

• Welcome guests, respond to feedback, and resolve service concerns professionally.

• Complete cash handling, till reconciliations, POS reporting, and safe drops accurately.

• Work with the kitchen and bar teams to follow applicable health, safety, and liquor regulations.

• Assist with private dining, special events, and busy weekend services.

• Help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and professional workplace.

• Communicate operational updates clearly to the General Manager and team.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant, bar, lounge, or hospitality environment.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.

• Ability to stay organized and make sound decisions during busy service periods.

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to work professionally with guests, team members, and management.

• Hospitality experience is preferred, but candidates with relevant leadership or customer service experience are welcome to apply.

• 프라이빗 다이닝, 특별 행사 및 주말 성수기 서비스를 지원합니다.

자격 요건

• 레스토랑, 바, 라운지 또는 호스피탈리티 업계에서의 관리·감독 경험

• 뛰어난 커뮤니케이션 능력과 고객 응대 능력

• POS 시스템 및 현금 관리 업무 경험

• 바쁜 서비스 시간에도 체계적으로 업무를 우선순위에 따라 처리할 수 있는 능력

• 저녁, 주말 및 공휴일 근무 가능자

• 고객, 팀원 및 경영진과 전문적으로 소통하고 협업할 수 있는 분

• 호스피탈리티 업계 경험자를 우대하며, 관련 리더십 또는 고객 서비스 경험을 보유한 분도 지원할 수 있습니다.
