업무 개요
캘거리 스탬피드 축제 행사장 주변의 혼잡한 차량 및 보행자 흐름을 관리하고 안내하는 업무입니다. 본 시즌 한정 역할은 차량을 주차 구역으로 안전하게 안내하고, 주차 요금 결제를 처리하며, 차량 정보를 정확하게 확인하는 데 중점을 둡니다.
주요 업무 내용
교통 안내: 표준 신호 절차, 수신호 및 교통 통제 장비(라바콘, 바리케이드 등)를 사용하여 차량을 지정된 이벤트 주차장으로 안내합니다.
출입 통제: 제한 구역 진입로에서 차량 정보, 주차 허가증 및 직원 출입증을 확인하고 검증합니다.
커뮤니케이션: 관리팀, 주차 단속 요원, 지역 당국과 무전 연락을 명확하게 유지하여 교통 병목 현상 및 비상 상황에 대처합니다.
고객 서비스: 방문객들에게 기본적인 길 안내와 질문에 답변하며, 환대하고 전문적이며 예의 바른 태도를 유지합니다.
위험 요소 보고: 무단 주차, 배회, 표지판 누락 등 안전 위험 요소를 식별하고 즉시 보고합니다.
자격 요건 및 지원 자격
체력: 캘거리의 여름철 더위나 우천 등 모든 야외 날씨 조건 속에서 장시간(4~8시간 교대 근무) 서 있거나 걸을 수 있는 체력이 필요합니다.
의사소통 능력: 명확한 영어 구사 능력이 필요하며, 스탬피드 축제 인파로 혼잡한 피크 시간대에도 차분하고 단호하며 전문적인 태도를 유지할 수 있어야 합니다.
근무 가능 시간: 스탬피드 기간 중 이른 아침, 늦은 밤, 주말, 공휴일을 포함한 유연한 스케줄 근무가 가능해야 합니다. 예정된 교대 근무 시간에 성실하게 출근해야 합니다.
개인 보호 장비 (PPE): 고시인성(형광) 조끼, 유니폼 및 날씨에 맞는 장비를 반드시 착용해야 합니다.

근무 시간: 7월 초·중순에 집중되는 시즌성, 임시, 파트타임 교대 근무입니다.

Manage, direct high-volume of vehicles and pedestrian traffic surrounding the Calgary Stampede. This seasonal role focuses on safely directing vehicles into parking areas, processing payment, and accurately validating vehicle info.
Key Responsibilities
• Traffic Direction: Use standard flagging procedures, hand signals, and traffic devices (cones, barricades) to guide vehicles into designated event parking.
• Access Control: Validate and verify vehicle informtion, parking permits, and staff credentials at restricted entry points.
• Communication: Maintain clear radio contact with management team members, parking enforcement staff, and local authorities to address bottlenecks and emergencies.
• Customer Service: Provide a welcoming, professional, and courteous demeanor to attendees by answering basic wayfinding questions.
• Hazard Reporting: Identify and promptly report safety hazards—such as unauthorized parking, loitering, and missing signage.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long periods (4 to 8 hour shifts) while working outdoors in all Calgary weather conditions (summer heat or rain).
• Communication Skills: Clear spoken English and the ability to remain calm, assertive, and professional during peak Stampede crowds.
• Availability: Must be available to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and statutory holidays during the Stampede. Must maintain consistent attendance on scheduled shifts.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Must wear high-visibility vests, uniform, and weather-appropriate gear.
Working Conditions
• Environment: Outdoor, high-noise, and highly dynamic.Hours: Seasonal, temporary, and part-time shifts concentrated in early to mid-July.Hazard Exposure: Constant exposure to moving vehicles, exhaust, and large crowds. Strict adherence to safety protocols is mandatory.
