Fryer – Full-Time | $16/hour After Training | Minimum 30 Hours/Week
CB Drive Inn is currently seeking a dependable and motivated Fryer to join our kitchen team.
A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed, with additional hours available for employees who are able and willing to work more.
Starting wage of $15.00/hour, with a minimum of $16.00/hour after training.
100% of tips go to staff, with a staff meal or 50% employee discount.
No previous fryer experience is required — comprehensive training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, works efficiently in a busy environment, and takes pride in maintaining consistent food quality, cleanliness, and service standards. The successful candidate will become an important part of our kitchen team and will be expected to learn and follow CB Drive Inn's procedures.

Schedule
We are looking for someone who can consistently work during the following hours:
- Weekdays: Shifts between 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
- Sundays: Shifts between 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed. Additional hours may be available depending on your availability and business needs.

Responsibilities
As a Fryer, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking fries, onion rings, chicken, and other fried menu items
- Maintaining consistent food quality, portioning, and cooking times
- Assisting with basic food and ingredient preparation
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and properly stocked work area
- Following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Working efficiently and safely during busy periods
- Assisting other team members when necessary
- Occasionally assisting with cashier duties during slower periods or when there are only a few orders
- Providing courteous and efficient customer service when assisting at the front counter
Previous experience is not required. Training will be provided on our menu, equipment, procedures, and work standards.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is punctual, reliable, and responsible
- Learns quickly and follows instructions carefully
- Can work efficiently under pressure
- Takes initiative to keep their work area clean and organized
- Is willing to help other team members when needed
- Is comfortable standing and working on their feet for extended periods
- Is able to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs (16 kg)
- Can understand and follow instructions in English
- Is comfortable interacting with customers when required
- Takes pride in doing their work properly and consistently
Previous kitchen, fryer, or cashier experience is an asset, but is not required.
