Position: Dental Ceramist

Wage: $36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week

✅ Job duties:

1. Fabricate and finish high-quality ceramic dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, and onlays, based on dentist prescriptions and case specifications.

2. Apply porcelain and zirconia layering techniques to achieve accurate shade matching, contour, translucency, and natural tooth-like aesthetics.

3. Perform staining, glazing, polishing, and final finishing of ceramic restorations to ensure proper appearance, durability, and clinical acceptability.

4. Operate CAD/CAM systems, milling equipment, and sintering furnaces to produce dental restorations with precision and consistency.

5. Interpret dental prescriptions, models, bite registrations, and occlusal records to ensure restorations meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

6. Inspect restorations at each stage of production and correct issues relating to fit, occlusion, shade, contour, and surface finish before final delivery.

7. Communicate with dentists and laboratory staff regarding case specifications, material selection, and technical adjustments required for successful restoration outcomes.

8. Maintain accurate laboratory records for case progress, materials used, and completed work in accordance with laboratory procedures and applicable standards.

✅Requirements:

- College/CEGEP in Dental Laboratory/technician or equivalent experience

- 3 years to less than 5 years of work experience
