Mari Bakeshop is looking for an early morning baker!
The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years experience in baking various types of bread including sourdough bread, baguette, etc.

****Must be able to start at 2AM and work in the weekends****

The shift will be:  Wednesday - Sunday 2AM - 10AM (8hr/day, 40hr/wk)

Responsibilities:

• Follow existing recipes and instructions properly
• Measure, weigh and prepare ingredients with consistency and accuracy
• Knead, roll, divide, and prepare dough
• Score and bake bread with precision, accuracy and speed
• Know how to use equipment such as oven, water meter, mixers, etc
• Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machines, and other baking equipment
• Maintain sanitary conditions in the kitchen area
• Clean and sanitize kitchen utensils and machines
• Keep ingredients stocked
• Be able to work independently with a minimal supervision
• Have a common sense and quick judgement
• Clean as you go and maintain a sense of urgency at all times

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift heavy objects
• Must be able to stand for long hours
• Expect repeating same movement (including bending & twisting)
