Cross-Cultural Volunteer Experience
Our objective is to place new Canadians in volunteer roles at human service and not-for-profit agencies. We are partnering with Volunteer Calgary to find these six-week volunteer roles.
This is a great opportunity for new Canadians who want to get work experience, meet new people and learn more about the Canadian way of life.
This is how you will benefit from our cross-cultural volunteer experience program:
- Gain experience at Canadian companies;
- Practice English language skills;
- Get a Canadian reference;
- Learn about Canadian work culture;
- Learn about other cultures;
- Meet new people;
- Get new business contacts;
- Get your first Canadian certificate; and
- Add the experience to your resume.
This program is free of charge.
