Come marvel at the beauty of folk art and toys created out of wood, clay, fabric, dough, grass, reeds and corn husks. This exhibition will feature unique Ukrainian folk toys, arts and crafts from Ukraine. Admission $5 / adults and children are free when accompanied by an adult

Christian Soccer Bible Camp

We invite all children ages 6-12 years old, to our first Annual Christian Bible Soccer Camp from 10:30-noon on Saturday mornings beginning May 5th- June 30th. The Bible Soccer Camp will be held at the Canadian Reformed Church of Calgary located at 18 Hart Estates Blvd. NE Calgary.
We hope that this Christian Bible Soccer Camp will provide growth in individual faith of Jesus Christ and the Bible as well as develop skills and knowledge in soccer.
Fee: $30.00/child. Includes: T-shirt, team photo, snack & drinks.
THERE WILL BE A HALF-HOUR OF BIBLE & DEVOTIONAL READING FOLLOWED BY SOCCER SKILLS/DRILLS AND PLAY. (child must wear shin pads, not provided)

On Sunday May 6th, Bring your friends and family and join 15,000 fellow Canadians from more than 50 communities across the country to help raise funds for Kids Help Phone, Canada’s leading youth counselling service. The Walk So Kids Can Talk is Kids Help Phone’s biggest fundraising event of the year, and helps ensure professional counsellors are available day or night to answer the thousands of kids who call in or post every week, looking for help, sometimes looking for a lifeline. Kids Help Phone believes that young people’s mental health and well-being are responsibilities that we all share as individuals, communities, and organizations.
In Calgary, the non-competitive 5K walk will be held at Eau Claire market. It’s free to register.
