The card belongs to the person on the card not to your car.
That means the service will be covered if you need as you are driving others car.
Also you can use your card for your wife while she is driving a car.
Make sure you can use this card for certain times(5 times not surely,
check from CAA). You can help the others for 5 times without using for
yourself.

One thing you have to consider is the towing option.
CAA Basic covers only 5Km which is useless. Plus covers 150Km.
That's the reason I chose the PLUS.
